  • Verify that all doors and windows are properly secure to prevent break-ins.
  • Check for evidence of water leaks or damage and check for visual signs of mold and mildew.
  • Visual inspection for signs of insects and or rodents.
  • Air Condition System – At each home inspection we will check that the A/C is working properly
  • Electrical Inspection – To avoid potential fire hazards, we will inspect your electrical panel for tripped circuit breakers
  • Plumbing Inspection
  • During each home inspection, we will check your home for mold, mildew and internal water leaks
  • We will run your dishwasher and garbage disposal. Check your basic plumbing and eliminate stale drain water by running water through your sinks, tubs, showers and toilets to prevent dried gaskets and water rings
  • Leak Inspection and Water Intrusion
  • At each home visit we will check the ceilings for any leaks or moisture damage
  • After checking the interior we will inspect your exterior for any newly formed cracks or gaps that will inevitably let water in.
  • Check refrigerator and freezer for proper operation, or mildew if its turned off.
  • Check that main water valve is turned off after each inspection (unless otherwise requested by client).
  • Visual inspection throughout property including lanai and garage.
  • Homewatch Inspection Checklist Report completed during each homewatch inspection.
  • IMMEDIATE reporting to Client of any abnormalities found.

  • Overall appearance and health of landscaping
  • Pool Cleanliness and equipment inspections
  • Insect Infestation
  • Surface cracks, leaks, and water intrusion
  • Check screened lanais for damage or animal activity
